To attend the Third University of Chicago Conference on
Eurasian Archaeology ("Regimes and Revolution: Power, Violence
and Labor in Eurasia Between the Ancient and the Modern"), and to
present a paper entitled "On the Origins of Complex Societies in the
Southern Caucasus" by interpretation of the pottery discovered at
the site of Areni-1.
