Armen Asher, C.P.A. (B.A., Industrial Management, M.B.A.) has held senior executive positions in international finance and overseas trade development with General Motors for many years. As a former Vice President of Motors Trading Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors, Mr. Asher was responsible for opening new markets through creative trade transactions and financing. His years of experience include: area responsibility for the Middle East and Africa with heavy emphasis on Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and South Africa; Chief Financial Officer of General Motors New Zealand; and finance responsibilities in Europe. Mr. Asher has concluded multi-party multi-country transactions which include the development, purchase or sale of agricultural products, petrochemicals, textiles, tourism, automotive components, metals and minerals, automobiles, trucks and air defense systems. Mr. Asher has served on the Board of Directors of the International Visitors Council in Detroit, and currently serves on the Board of the Antiquaries of the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Mr. Asher is fluent in English, Turkish and Armenian, and conversant in French.
